Bishop Fowler draws from his ministry experience and the marriage example of his parents who were married for over 58 years and his 48-year marriage to his high school sweetheart.

Bishop Fowler also includes the personal advice and opinion of forty-five church pastors, ministers, and members of his congregation who have been married from one to fifty-two years. For Better or Worse is written for anyone who is dating, courting, married, or considering either, and desires to have a successful marriage according to God’s holy ordinance.

Bishop Miles E. Fowler

Pastor of Big Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, GA, where he has ministered for more than 32 years. A spiritual leader to more than 30 ministers, Bishop Fowler obtained an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Beulah Heights University. He also received a Certificate in Theology from the Program of Continuing and Extension Education and the Faculty of Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, GA. He served in the United States Air Force and attended military school in San Antonio, Texas. His ministry has received international and national recognition. Dr. Fowler resides in Ellenwood, Georgia with his wife of 48 years, Helen Fowler. He is the father of four children and grandfather of seven.
